Cancellation Policy

Lesson Cancellation Policy

I understand unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 Hours Notice

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling a lesson, as Bruce is typically booked 1-2 weeks in advance. Giving 24 hours notice provides the opportunity for someone else to schedule a lesson in your reserved time. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount for your lesson. Lessons cancelled outside of 24 hours will be eligible for rescheduling and will not count against your series if applicable.

No-Shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their lesson for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. Your lesson will be considered used.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your lesson will be shortened in order to accommodate others whose lessons follow yours. Regardless of the length of the lesson actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” lesson. Out of respect and consideration to your instructor and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time. If you have time, plan to come early and hit some range balls or use the practice green to warm up.

Weather

Weather plays a big role in the enjoyment and safety of a lesson. If lightening is spotted, the lesson will be stopped immediately. If a lesson begins and is stopped due to weather, the remaining time will be added to another lesson. If inclement weather is nearing the facility where your lesson is being conducted, please call Bruce’s cell phone 270-331-0130 to coordinate a decision to postpone or continue the lesson as scheduled. If the weather stays clear and you don’t call/don’t show, it will result in a no-show and the lesson will count.

Excessive Heat: There are a few days a year where the temperature and heat index are dangerous both for golfers and instructors. Golfers will tend to tire faster, gripping the club becomes tougher, and it’s not much fun. I will contact you in advance and we will reschedule your lesson to a date with better conditions.

Group Programs Policy on Weather and Missed Sessions

The first time we face inclement weather, class will be moved indoors to discuss Rules, Etiquette, and any other golf topic that arises. The second time the class will be postponed and the make-up date will be determined, typically an extra week on the same day/time, but not always. The date will be confirmed with participants at the time of cancellation.

Unfortunately, in group programs individual misses will not be made up, we will try our best to catch you up at the next lesson. Also know we review our topics several times for enhanced learning.

Thank you for your understanding – I look forward to helping you reach your golfing goals!!
